Capital Murder Trial pushed back for Bullard manPosted/updated on: August 6, 2020 at 9:05 am
TYLER –The capital murder trial for a Bullard man was pushed back Tuesday afternoon due to the coronavirus pandemic and both sets of lawyers awaiting DNA testing results. According to our news partner KETK, 23-year-old Brentavian Henderson is charged in connection to the killing of Roy Bowins, 77. The murder happened in November 2018 while he and two others were allegedly stealing a car and two TVs.
The pandemic has pushed back jury trials in Texas for months and officials are not optimistic about any trial starting before October. The next status hearing will be in October, but an exact date, has not been given.
